Chocolate Dipping for Mother's Day

My soon-to-be sister-in-law's mom (wow, that hurt my brain) makes and dips chocolates. The most delicious chocolates I have ever eaten! She came over to our house to do a dipping party before Mother's Day. It was a lot of fun and soooo yummy! Here are a few pics.

 Vicky dipping raspberry stuffs

Bec having fun dipping
It was actually a lot of fun unless I had to chase one, haha

Yummy Almond Joys!
Thania dipping some toffees (I think)

Jessica chasing one in the chocolate!
Lemon Blueberry, I think

Raspberry Cremes
She does a lot of different flavors. Raspberry and Orange Creme. Orange truffles, Almond Joys, Snickers, Mint truffles, Lemon Blueberry, Pinoches, Toasted Coconut. They're all so good! A lot of fun for Mother's Day!

Playing a little Catch up

I'm just playing a little catch up on my pictures. So here's a few for you!
 Uncle Conor and the munchkin

He is so cute I can hardly stand it!

Itty Bitty before his eye surgery

Attacking bubbles at our Easterish party

The great part about this, is he was sitting by Jared who was yelling at his video game. Mike (without even opening his eyes) said, "I know how to beat this game." Jared: "How?" Mike: "Don't die."
Classic!

Pizza burger! The meat itself had garlic and I think bacon mixed in it. Then it was wrapped around a whole host of yumminess, then sandwiched in between two DiGiorno pepperoni pizzas. Mmm, Mmm, Good!

Mmmmm, fatty, greasy goodness!

One amazing discovery!!!

Hayden's Eye Surgery

Well, Hayden has had a blocked tear duct in his right eye since he was born and the doctors said that it would probably go away within the first year. We thought so, too. Harley had the same thing, but it did clear up on its own. Hayden's, however, was getting steadily worse. He couldn't wake up without his eye being stuck shut. So we went to see the best pediatric opthalmologist (recommended by everyone we asked) to see if there was anything we could do. Only option was to do surgery. Pretty standard stuff. They just take a metal tube thing and push it down the tear duct to unclog it. It only took a couple minutes to do and his eye looked better immediately. We're really happy he is no longer uncomfortable. :D

Funny

Mike: "I know how to beat this game..."
Jared: "How?"
Mike: "Don't die."

Awesome.

Finally!

We were fasting and praying this last week for...well, several different things, but out of the blue right after we started our fast Jared got a call from Walmart for an interview. 2 interviews and all the dumb tests later, he goes in for orientation next Tuesday! We're so excited! This could not have come at a better time! It'll be good for now. I'm just happy that after several months of looking, he finally found a job!
Woohoo!!!
