Disappointing

So, we have started this little group in our ward for Enrichment. It's just the Young Sisters group, which is made up of all the women between 18 and 30. We had our first activity last night and I had been really worried about it because we hadn't had much time to plan. There are three of us on the sub committee, 1 who's always out of town, 1 who is extremely busy and 1 who is fly by the seat of her pants. (I'm the last if you weren't sure ;) We didn't get to have a planning meeting until 2 days before the activity, which always makes me nervous and anxious. I like to have a plan and know what I'm doing well ahead of time so I can do my part. Anyway, we only had 2 sisters show up to the activity and it kinda bummed me out. Oh well, there's always next month.
Good news is that Harley is getting his top front teeth and doesn't seem to be too bothered by it. However, I'm getting bothered by his determination to get out of the crib! He keeps standing on his toys to try and get out. Ugh!
In even happier news, we get to find out whether or not we have a boy or a girl in a week and a half! Yay!
FYI: I WILL BE MASS TEXTING THE BABY'S GENDER WHEN WE FIND OUT!

A couple quotes for you

"We spent months planning this and all THEY wanna do is study! I'm disgusted. We had no one at the mutant hamster races. We only had one entry to the Madame Curie look-alike contest and he was later disqualified...why do I bother?" - Chris Knight, Real Genius

Karen: "So you just went to sleep, that's it?"
Meg: "Yes, I just said that. Didn't I just say that?"
Nick: "About 5 times."
Meg: "I did not know him in the biblical sense."
Nick: "I love these shoes, I think I'm going to sleep in them."
Meg: "But that does NOT mean he's going to have sex with them."
- The Big Chill (One of my all-time favorites!)

Finally

So, I haven't written in here for a month...I just haven't felt like it. I'm writing now for no reason, really. Anywho.
The other night the baby and I fell asleep at around 8 so, naturally, we woke up around 11, lol. Harley decided he no longer wanted to sleep and his mother decided she was hungry. So I went upstairs and started making macaroni. I locked the front door and the side door because I don't like having doors unlocked at night. I was walking across the family room to the kitchen when I heard a noise like someone trying to open the side door. Freaking out a little, I kept walking and stopped at the border between the living room and the kitchen because I heard a noise coming from the laundry room. All of a sudden, Monica's head pops out of the laundry room and scares the crap out of me. With James following close behind. Apparently they had come over to eat the leftover lasagna my mom made the other night. Jokingly, I asked them if they did this often. Seriously, Monica answered not anymore. Makes me wonder if I should start locking the doors more often...
On another note, we had Harley's blessing on Sunday. Jared was very nervous, but he did just fine. It was really nice. We had a lot of people there for such short notice. And James made a fool of himself to Bobby's step-dad, teehee.
Jared started school at UVU and loves it. He said it's a lot easier this time. So, hopefully, all will go well and Jared will finally have found the thing he's meant to do.
Also, in 3ish weeks, we get to find out whether it's a boy or a girl! Yay!
