Spring Inventory

I've been blogging less and less lately what with school, kids and family stuff going on. I'm trying to be better. So here is a basic update of how everyone is doing.

Jared is coming up on the end of his first year at ITT Tech. I can't believe it has been that long already! It really does seem like yesterday that he signed up and started going to classes. He is still really enjoying it and is looking forward to the next 3 years. He is majoring in Graphic Design/Animation and is doing really well with it. He's hoping to work for a company called Blizzard who make video games that he really loves. They are based in California :D

I am still just going to school at UVU and taking care of the kids. I am almost done with my first (part-time) year of college. I am still enjoying it, even when it's difficult. I am majoring in Deaf Studies with an emphasis in Interpretation and minoring in languages. But, like I said, I am just finishing my first part-time year. So it will be a while yet before I'm close to being done.

Harley is coming up on his 3rd birthday which I also cannot believe is happening. I am just amazed that I have an almost 3 year old little man. He's as cute as ever. Still not talking, but we are working on that. He'll hopefully be starting in a program in April where they will work with him in different ways to try and get him to start talking. His little brother is starting to talk which is helping him to be motivated. He really loves Toy Story and Buzz & Woody are his favorites, go figure. He really loves to run around and jump and is just really active so I can't wait for it to be warm enough to take him to the park.

Hayden is also coming up on a birthday. He will be turning 2 in 6 months. More disbelief in the passing of time. It just seems like one minute Hayden was sliding around the floor on his tummy and the next, he is walking (more like running) everywhere and climbing up things. He is our climber. That little man has the strongest little tummy and arm muscles. If he can't get his legs up high enough to climb, he just pulls himself up. It's pretty amazing. He also likes Toy Story, but I think he likes Nemo better. I also can't wait to take him to the park since he was still too little to really enjoy it last summer.

That's a pretty good summation of our lives right now. Neither Jared or I are working right now. Although, we are working on getting jobs. With things the way the are, it is a difficult job, trying to find a job. But we're doing it. We mostly just go to school, take care of our kids, do our homework and hang out with family and friends.

New looks!

Jared, Conor, Ian, Paul, Philip, Harley and Hayden.
Harley monster!
Hayden baby!
To show support, all the boys (except Blake) buzzed their heads. Mike did as well, but I didn't have a chance to get everyone together for a group shot. Vicky, Lydia and I cut our collective hairs short also. Those pictures to come. For now, the pictures of my beautiful boys will have to suffice.

Superbowl 45

Now, normally I could not give one rip about a football game. However, when the Packers are in the Superbowl I make an exception and show amazing interest in the game. It was actually a lot of fun. For those of you who are unaware, my dad was born and raised in Wisconsin. Our family is a 100% cheesehead family :D We got together (minus my oldest sister and her family due to sickness) and had a ton of good food and good fun. What made it even better is that the Packers won, woohoo! Ok, I won't rub it in for any of you who rooted for the Steelers. Both teams played really well. Anyway, I have a few pictures to share.

Super yummy food!
Everybody watching the beginning of the game.
All tuckered out after the game *-* So cute!
We had a lot of fun hanging out and watching the game together.

My tribute to the Packers!
